CC MAD es una copia derivada de BccN Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival, el primer festival del mundo que se puede copiar.
Bajo la premisa COPIA ESTE FESTIVAL nace CC WORLD. BccN Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival ofrece un festival que se pueda descargar copiar, remezclar, distribuir y proyectar de manera gratuita en cualquier lugar del mundo. Para fomentar que otras organizaciones puedan “copiar” el festival, el equipo de BccN facilitará el contenido, la selección de películas en alta resolución, grabaciones de mesas redondas, contactos con los directores (si lo autorizan), imagen del festival, subtítulos, etc.
CC MAD es así, el primer festival de cine en Creative Commons de la Comunidad de Madrid. Se celebra del 19 al 22 de enero en Medialab Prado y La Casa Encendida. Se podrán ver las mejores películas y cortometrajes en Creative Commons del panorama nacional e internacional, a la vez que se debatirá sobre nuevas formas de creación y se impulsarán trabajos de nueva autoría.
BccN Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival ha sido el primer festival de cine del mundo de obras licenciadas exclusivamente bajo Creative Commons. Se ha consolidado en su segunda edición como festival referente en España. Con gran potencial de crecimiento nacional y proyección internacional. Ya se ha comenzado a trabajar en la tercera edición que se celebra en Barcelona en mayo de 2012.

CC WORLD starts with the BccN Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival (bccn.cc/), as a project supporting the cinema. Specifically, adapting the cinema to new opportunities on the Internet.
Helping a new distribution more free, can help to reach a wider audience and achieve a new model with more justice for the author. We support the work of filmmakers, creating an event to show the best films in a big screen, allowing to audiences to enjoy the film in a big venue, and creating a network for international distribution through a network of Creative Commmons Film Festivals.
We believe a new model is possible. "Copy this festival", CC WORLD allows the copy of BccN Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival with a CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 (Attribution / Non Comercial / Share Alike) license. It has already being copied in several places: Colombia, Poland or México. We want more.

CC WORLD is the platform of Creative Commons Film Festivals copies of BccN Barcelona Creative Commons Film Festival CC BY-NC-SA 3.0 (Attribution / Non Comercial / Share Alike).To copy the festival, BccN will provide the program, archives, contacts, conferences, graphic stuff used in editable way, subtittles...etc. The pack of the festival. If there are more associations in the same city who wants to do it, will contact them to work collaboratively. But with preference the first of them.
Requirements: 1,5m screen, venue for at least 35 people.
Why this is important
Motivation is promoting cinema in Creative Commons and offer an oportunity of distribution for the authors and chances for the audience to enjoy the films in big screens and in company.Project looks for Associations or individuals who want to copy the festival, in a collaborative way and without profit.
Goals of the crowdfunding campaign
We want to create a platform worldwide to help Creative Commons cinema helping a platform of Creative Commons Film Festivals, copies of BccN. Bringing this kind of cinema beyond the net.Though this campaign, we try to finance this platform, create the website, translate and add subtitles, communicate the platform in a higher level to get copies all arround the world (in big cities and small cities, national and international)
