qmp.cat developers are in charge of the firmware. It is an adaptation (customization) of the OpenWRT distribution which is a GNU/Linux distribution for free software embedded devices. All the software developed in qmp.cat is distributed under GLPv2 license.

Efraín Foglia
Efraín Foglia is an interactive media designer.
He is currently researching on the relationship between creative practices and the development of digital networks, as well as the related social and political implications.
He is a member of guifi.net and exo.cat, two self-managed platforms which develop open digital networks.
He is also a member of the GRID research group (Grup de Recerca de Interaccions Digitales) at the Universitat de Vic (Barcelona), where he works as a lecturer of Digital Art and Info Visualization.
He is researcher of GIIP (International Group of Research on the Convergence between Art, Science and Technology), at the UNESP, São Paulo, Brazil.
