Efraín Foglia

Efraín Foglia
Efraín Foglia is an interactive media designer.
He is currently researching on the relationship between creative practices and the development of digital networks, as well as the related social and political implications.
He is a member of guifi.net and exo.cat, two self-managed platforms which develop open digital networks.

He is also a member of the GRID research group (Grup de Recerca de Interaccions Digitales) at the Universitat de Vic (Barcelona), where he works as a lecturer of Digital Art and Info Visualization.
He is researcher of GIIP (International Group of Research on the Convergence between Art, Science and Technology), at the UNESP, São Paulo, Brazil.

"Es una apuesta por la expansión territorial de Internet a través de dispositivos móviles. Un intento de colocar Internet al servicio de los ciudadanos y no de las corporaciones /instituciones"
